27570 Privacy guidelines for smart cities
ISO/IEC 27570 Privacy guidelines for smart cities was developed from 2019 to 2021, under the editorship of
Trialog. The standard takes a multiple agency as well as a citizen-centric viewpoint to provide guidance on
smart city ecosystem privacy protection.
ISO/IEC 27570 identifies three types of arrangements and five
processes in an ecosystem privacy plan. The three types of arrangements consists of the governance body
operation, the supply chain management and data management.
The five processes include the governance, the data management, the risk management, the engineering
and the citizen engagement processes.
